From my botched surgery, to the way I was treated, my whole experience with Dr. Hardesty was beyond awful. I look worse now then I did before my surgery (handfuls of loose skin, awkward crease lines, crooked belly button etc) and when I said I was unhappy with my results, he said he didn’t want me to come to any future appointments without my husband. Apparently, he think woman should only be seen and not heard. If you’re looking for a doctor who cares about you and not just your money, don’t waste your time here. After he couldn’t get the first surgery right, he botched the second surgery and then asked for an additional 16k to fix the second botched surgery. Then, when I asked to have it discounted because of his mistakes, he fired me as a patient. I never knew a doctor who fired a patient before, when all the patient was doing was asking the doctor to do the right thing.

From my the time I had my initial consultation through follow-up care after surgery Dr. Hardesty and his staff have all taken such great care of me and been informative answering all my questions. I primarily was seeking to have a tummy tuck, but ended up having a breast augmentation as well. I initially went to Dr. Hardesty because my friend had recommended him and my regular doctor also recommended him, so I knew he did great work. I only went to one other consultation and I chose Dr. Hardesty because I wanted a very natural look and I felt he could actually accomplish the look I wanted. I was also extremely nervous about my tummy tuck as I knew this was a big surgery to have, but I was extremely unhappy with my tummy even though I had lost all my weight after having two children who happened to be very large in my 5’-0” tall frame. Both he and his staff really made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions, even when I called back several times when I would think of a new one to ask. They also prepared me well for what to expect and made sure I would have minimal bruising and scaring. I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Dr. Hardesty and his staff if you are considering plastic surgery.

I visited Dr. Hardesty for a consultation last fall, after doing extensive research for a surgeon. After checking credentials, looking on the medical board website for any malpractice lawsuits and checking reviews online, I had narrowed it down to 3 surgeons. I visited all of them over the course of 2 weeks, and Dr. Hardesty was my final visit. Half way into the consult, I had already made up my mind that this was the doctor for me. Everything from scheduling the appointment with Elizabeth, to getting set up in for the doctor with the medical assistant, to meeting with him was all a very pleasant experience. I had already done the research on him, but he reaffirmed everything with speaking about himself and his accolades. He did not come off arrogant rather humbled by his success. He engaged with me about what I wanted and also offered his expert opinion. I came in with 2 pages of typed questions. He answered every one. He did not make me feel rushed, or like the next person in line (as one of the other surgeons I interviewed did). He was, and the experience was an overall delight. I did end up completing the surgery with him about 2 months later, with fantastic results. He made sure I was comfortable post op and had all of my appointments thereafter after, set up in advance for the next 6 months. This decision is a very personal one and you have to feel 100% comfortable with your choice. And 8 months post op, I know that I made the best decision on choosing Dr. Hardesty and his staff!

I had the full mommy make over done (breast augmentation, Liposuction of the abdomen, and tummy tuck) two months ago and I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Hardesty is the BEST! He is very caring and makes you feel very comfortable. He is very informative and gives you details on what to expect before and after surgery. He also informs your about every detail and guides you every step of the way. I searched all over for the right doctor and everyone just made me feel like I was just another patient. Dr. Hardesty made me feel at ease through the the whole procedure and even the post surgery. He is awesome! The staff there is very kind and very friendly. They truly make you feel at home and they always make sure that you are comfortable and answers any questions that you may have. So if you ever thought about getting any cosmetic surgery...I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hardesty, He truly is GREAT at what he does.

I had two ruptured old generation silicone implants from the eighties. After 27 years they were thrashed. Silicone from one implant migrated into my upper muscle and surrounding tissue. This created a reactionary tumor the size of four golf balls. Anytime time a tumor this size is removed it carries a significant risk. Blood loss and a host of other complications. Being a completive dancer and a bodybuilder I was also concerned how much muscle would be removed. Would I ever be the same again? Yes, the thought of all this was creeping me out. Safety, experience and results was parliament. My job was to find the best surgeon I could and the rest would be up to him.

I made my A-list for a top doctor and then I researched for hours on the Internet and found Dr Hardesty. The first thing I wanted to know is if he had any peer reviewed publications in print. That is the signature of a knowledgeable doctor. He did and it is quite an impressive portfolio. Additionally his CV reads like the who’s who for surgical procedures. It is quite the catalog. In addition he served as the Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University (LLU). He taught top elite doctors with thriving practices their surgical methods and techniques. He is the founder of the first nationally accredited and integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program at LLU. He founded and is president of the Calif. Society of Plastic Surgeons. And my most important discovery, based on the feedback from his patients on the Internet, he is loved and valued not only as a doctor but as a human being.

Based on research evidence, I was convinced. I made my appointment. When the day came, Dr. Hardesty took the time to explain my options. I have to say, the guy knows his stuff. But the thing that really stood out and struck me about Dr. Hardesty is how approachable he is. He is a down-to-earth guy with super-doc abilities. I shared with him my concerns about losing function in my arm due to the silicone that had invaded my muscle and it needed to be cut out. He assured me that he would do everything possible to minimize muscle loss.

I had the surgery. The ruptured implants, scar tissue and tumor was removed. In recovery Dr. Hardesty told me that he was able to preserve the muscle and removed less than one percent of it! I have no clue how he was able to pull that off but I am grateful.

I had complete and immediate access to Dr. Hardesty and his staff at all times. They are a knowledgeable and empathic team. And just in case I had grave concerns about the recovery process, he gave me his cell number. He even asked me to see him on a Saturday to make sure things were going well. And, the night before surgery I got an unexpected call from Dr. Hardesty in case I had any last minute questions. I had some pre-surgery gitters , but after hearing his voice and the fact that he took the time to check in on me, well, I felt a lot less anxious. What kind of doctor these days makes a house call before surgery? None that I’ve ever experienced. That is service. With Dr. Hardesty and team, it is not just about medicine but about the humanistic component – the whole person.

As of this writing it has been six weeks since surgery. Today is my first day back at the gym. I almost have my full range of motion in my arms. I expect to have all of it in one more week. Because of Dr. Hardesty’s skill and experience I am able to continue my love for dance and working out. I’m pretty sure had I used a different surgeon, that tumor would have been cut out with little regard to function and I would have never been the same. Keep in mind, any surgery carries a risk, but when you align yourself with a top doc, that risk diminishes significantly. Performance outcomes in plastic surgery begins with the first choice, yours. Make the right one. If safety, experience and results are paramount, then you have only one empirically proven choice to make – Dr. Hardesty.

I have always had wonderful experiences when visiting Dr. Hardestys office. I have gone to his office for nearly 20 years.
The staff is friendly and helpful. I never have to wait, my appointments are always on time, which is helpful for me, since I have to take vacation time.
I am informed of new services and procedures in a friendly manner, without any pressure.
They sell products but don’t try to high pressure me into buying anything, they just let me know what they carry and what the products do.
When I moved to the high desert, I tried going to someplace nearer to me to save the drive. It wasn’t worth the saved time. I have had horrible experiences with other doctors’ offices nearer to my house. I have been left to wait over 2 hours after I arrived for my appointment at one place without being informed, and given injectables at another one that made part of my face droop. They said it couldn’t be fixed, but Dr. Hardesty was able to fix it immediately. This office makes me feels like I am valued as a person.
I drive over 60 miles to get to his office, which tells you how highly I think of the services I receive there.
Before I had a major procedure, I was thoroughly informed of any possible problems, and given a booklet of information to take home with me after the procedure. I was very pleased with the results, and the follow-up care by his staff was wonderful.
If the doctor doesn’t think a certain procedure is the best option for me, he tells me and provides other options for me to consider. I value someone who is honest. I would recommend Dr. Hardesty to anyone; it is a relief to find someone like him in the Inland Empire.

Dr. Hardesty is an amazing plastic surgeon. I call him a “true artist.” I had a breast augmentation done a month ago and could not be happier with the result. Dr. Hardesty and his staff were kind, informative and efficient. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hardesty for plastic surgery. There’s no need to go to L.A. or Orange County when you have the best here in Riverside.

I would have to admit after the 5th cosmetic doctor I was done looking. I was so upset and irritated at the fact that every doctor I have seen i was so uncomforable and not satistfy with the experience I had with them. Until a friend recommended Dr. Hardesty, I went in and the office staff are just so friendly and very welcoming. Dr. hardesty himself is very caring and supportive.He wants nothing but the best for you. He called me two days before my surgery just to check in with me, then called the night before to make sure im ready. And lastly before he took me into surgery he said a prayer for me. Dr. Hardesty is very good at what he does I could never be happier with deciding to have my surgery with him. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hardesty.

Dr Hardesty is the sweetest most caring and humble Doctor I've ever had. He has this happy and bubbly personality yet he's extremely professional and made me feel so comfortable. Once I found him on the internet I didn't feel the need to shop for another surgeon, and I was even more sold when I met him person. He even gave me his cell phone #, and told me to call him incase I had any issues. Not only that, he also called me the night before to give me last minute instructions and to calm my nerves. Right before surgery he said a prayer with my husband and I. His whole staff and the staff at the surgery center were all so sweet and caring. I'm 1 day post op and I feel.great! One more thing, today Saturday was his day off and he had us meet him at his office just to make sure everything is going good! I will see him soon for a little botox ;) thank you Dr. Hardesty, you have changed my life.

I've been a client of Dr. Robert Hardesty for almost 10 years. Within that time I've gotten a Breast Augmentation, Otoplasty and Rhinoplasty. I've been very pleased with all these procedures and have referred several people to him. Being a vein woman like most, I'm very picky so I would never go to anyone else. My only worry is the day when Dr. Hardesty stops practicing, considering I'll probably get something else done:)
