Great office. Best effort of any medical office I have ever dealt with over the years of raising 4 kids.
They call back.
They follow up on your referrals.
They remember your child.
You are never rushed out.
They answer questions.
I miss Dr. Frachetti. We were switched to Gabrielle, but she's been great.

I was not happy today called to get an appointment today and was told nothing available because they were doing physicals. I told the receptionist that my daughter had a bad ear ache and that her tonsils were swollen. I asked if they could squeeze her in and I was told no and that i would have to take her to urgent care. Very disappointed!

Not at all. They were happy to give me as much information as I wanted

Extremely comfortable; I could have fallen asleep

Definitely yes

Yes, if my child is sick they get them in right away

Dr. Fraschetti and the FNP, Gabrielle at the La Quinta office have been wonderful. The office waiting room has a well and sick area and the wait times generally aren't that bad. My only complaint is that the receptionist is not very friendly and generally has an attitude either in-person or on the phone, even though I've tried to be overly nice to see if I get a different result. Everyone else has been amazing there and they have sick kid time every morning from 8-8:20, so you can drop in if you don't have an appointment. I would give them 5 stars otherwise, but you have to deal with the receptionist every visit/phone call.

I would like to defend Desert Pediatrics. Dr. Fraschetti and Gabrielle Schwilk are fantastic providers. They are a busy practice because it's a good practice. They always do their best to get us in and out. It takes longer sometimes because they answer all my questions and don't rush me out the door.

Regarding the vaccines, they have been very honest regarding being unable to purchase vaccines at this time. It was explained to me that the economy has hit them hard as it has all of us. I think he should be commended for being honest to his patients. They have done their best as an office to temporarily find locations for vaccines to be provided until they are able to get vaccines in house.

He has been there for my children when I needed it. I think we should encourage his practice during this time instead of going else where. I really want to see this doctor stay in business...he and his staff are amazing!!


They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find.

I was very impressed with this pediatrician’s office when I first started going to them. I never was able to get an actual appointment with the pediatrician himself but seeing the Gabriel the nurse practitioner was a positive experience since she is great. The office staff is not the friendliest or professional in their interactions with patients. The office has not had vaccines for my baby for the last two months and there is no explanation as to why and when they will be available again. When I first started seeing this doctor the visits were staggered and there was not much of a waiting time. At my last visit the wait was long and I could not schedule my next baby well visit till almost two months ahead which would only put my baby farther behind in his shots. I'm currently in search of a new pediatrician. It is a shame that the practice has changed so drastically in just a few months since I had previously recommended them to many friends and coworkers.
