I have been going to Dr. Beach for over 5 years. He is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner and sense of humor. I don't like going to the doctor, so the humor helps me to feel more comfortable. His staff is very friendly and efficient. This is not an office that forgets about you once you leave. If they say they will call you back, they follow through. I highly recommend 43 Ave Medical Associates.
I am so confused with him and this office. I was so desparate to find a good pcp i would feel comfortable with and get care i need. First visit i was so nervous i made a fool out of myself by talking way to much after misunderstanding his question. He basically told me he had only 10 min. and needed my med. records and that was it. Nothing at all was taken care of or discussed as to why i was there. I did get him to take a look at my sinus's bc i have frequent inf. He blew me off. Next visit still no records and the office does not follow up at all or return calls etc so he did at least do some bloodwork but still nothing discussed as to why i might be there. Very frustrating when you wait 2 hrs to see him then he gives you 10 minutes! 3rd visit he seemed much better and covered my bloodwork and felt i was getting somewhere. Still no medical records though after i pushed everything on my end. Next visit was even more frustrating and all i want to do is cry!! Still nothing at all accomplished and everything i need to discuss with him is not at all! People tell me he is very effecient and takes his time with you but i have seen none of that at all! He is polite and knowledgable it seems but i had to ask about my records and other things several times and r did get an answer!!! Long story but i am not at all impressed and i have given up and feel i will just have to suffer and forget it.
Dr. Beach is a very attentive, he takes time with a patient and talks to them so that he can better understand what's wrong. He discusses options for your care and his office is great with follow up. They are nice and always willing to go the extra mile! His P.A. is just as awesome
Benn going to this office since the 90's. While wait times can vary as they do in all Dr. offices the staff is friendly and helpful. The PA's do and know very much for the patients, they are knowledgeable. Caught my prostate cancer early in the blood work, have no problems for two years now. Dr. Beach is a fine Dr. and genuinely cares about your health issues.
DR. BEACH IS A WONDERFUL CARING DOCTOR, ALWAYS LISTENS TO WHAT YOUR PROBLEM IS AND HELPS YOU TRY TO GET WELL BUT YOU NEED TO FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS. SOME TIME IF HE IS REALLY , REALLY BUSY HE STILL TAKES TIME WITH YOU .I 'VE SEEN HIM SINCE 1996 OR 1998.. VERY COMFORTABLE TO TALK TO.
A great, knowledgeable, caring doctor. I can think of no one I would rather have taking care of me and giving me advice than Doctor Beach. What he doesn't know about taking care of individuals like myself, a man over the age of 80, probably isn't worth knowing. I trust him implicitly, If he told me I was required to walk around the block every morning with rocks in my mouth to cure some ailment I would ask him how many rocks.
Waited an hour and a half after my appointment time and walked out. I've seen several doctors and nurse practitioners at this office nude the wait to see the doctor is unreasonable always. All I wanted was a referral because of pain in my hands.
I felt disrespected here. I suffer from chronic pain and I needed pain medication. The Female P.A. called me a drug addict and that's not the case she just meet me. They're were other patients asking for pain meds and getting them prescribed with no problem. Then I was told that I had lymphocytes but that's not true. I feel because I'm young and African American I got treated very poorly. Every time I ask to see Dr . Beach I get a P.A The office staff is very polite but the physicians suck.
