To be completely honest I never even got to meet this doctor. I scheduled in appointment with him after reading all of his "outstanding" reviews but when the appointment day came there had been a mix put with the scheduling. I know for a fact that I would not have agreed to take the appointment THEY had assigned because it conflicts with my work schedule. They lady who was helping me as rude and when I asked for the next available opening they told me I would have to wait a month. I have a serious medical condition that needs monitoring (Which I brought to their attention) and requested they ask the doctor personally if he could fit me in any sooner. I was told they would call me back that same day and they didn't. Two days ago I received a notice from Mr. Barnett stating that he would not treat me. I have my reservations about they way he and his office handled the situation.

I could not say enough about how great Dr. Barnett is as a physician; however the overall satisfaction of his office staff including MA, LPN, front and back office make his practice difficult to deal with. MAs are quickly turned over as well as the licensed nursing staff; responsiveness is absolutely poor. Had a blood draw from my weekly INR and had to call the office over a week later to obtain the results that had no bearing at that point. Working in healthcare makes my expectations high; however the team in general does not come close to meeting minimal standards of customer service, responsiveness and professionalism. Dr. Barnett is an excellent MD who has surrounded himself with below mediocre talent. It is sad to see the decline in this practice as it was not always this rough.
