Dr Ritchea is am Excellent Dr. He saved my life in 2007. I was in a coma for a month, after many test and results, he found out That I had a staff infection behind my lung. I was in the hospital for 3 months. He continued my care after I got home. I would still be using him If the Ins had quit filling all my prescriptions. I am 68 years old and have a lot of medical problems and stayed with me for as long as he could. He is one of the best Doctors I have used. All of my other Drs think the world of him. I wish they would give an update on what is going on. One last thought, I was on private ins at the time.

I do not understand what Dr. Ritchea has done to be bullied by the pharmacies. Thia DR practically saved my life. I have been his patient for almost 4 years. I have very bad ulcers among other physical problems. After 11 days in St FRANCIS and they could not find any other things he sent me to Emory where within 1 week had found the real reason for some of my illness. They ran the same test St. Francis did but you could see the problem and it had been there for he puts me on the medication I can take and the pharmacy denies filling them. would someone explain this to me. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. I had a great experience here and will most definitely refer them to others in need of an internist.

HE IS A RIP OFF ARTIST WHO DOES NOT CARE FOR HIS PATIENTS ONLY MONEY

I wouldn't trust him with my DEAD DOG!! He is after money blood, and he will get it!! Dr. Ritchea was convicted of fraud by Medicare and fined $6.6 million for injecting fake nerve blocks in elderly and disabled patients - I was one of them. He also saw me before being convicted and charged me $1,200.00 to draw a blood specimen to drug test me after an auto accident because my primary care Dr. does not treat auto accident cases, but he did blood work on a routine visit the day before Dr. Ritchea saw me for the accident. His office staff treated me like a criminal drug user with no reason to do so. My test came back negative as known because I do not use drugs. I tried to talk to his office manager - HIS WIFE - about the charges but she refused to discuss it. His office is only interested in making money from any where they can get it. !
