Dr Gaudino is the best gynecologist I’ve been to , her office staff is friendly and helpful and dr gaudino takes the Patti to listen and answer your questions

Unfortunately, I had an awful experience there.  This was my Second pregnancy ( I had one miscarriage).  After the doctor failed to tell me when to reschedule (my high risk doctor was the one who told me that I had needed an appointment) I called dr. Guadino's office and they made an appointment. After my husband and I waited over an hour, I had asked if there was a problem.  They reassured me that there wasn't usually a wait over an hour and that they did ME a favor and "squeezed" me in.  I truly felt like it was their error for not letting me know when I needed a follow up appt., however I just told them that I do not want to be "squeezed" in for future appts. and that I needed a regular appointment slot.  My third appointment, over an hour wait, they finally take me into my appointment.  The technician came in and reassured me that this is not normal for this practice, and that recently they have been coping with being understaffed and trying to train new people. I appreciated her honesty. Ten minutes later the tech came back in to tell me that the doctor LEFT the office.  To make matters worse she said it was because one of her patients was in labor all day and the hospital never made contact to let doctor know.  That was truly concerning for me. They said they will schedule me at my convience.  I chose 9 am the following morning and scheduled that.   Within 30 minutes, they called me to let me know that they made a  mistake and that the doctor was unavailable then.  They said 1 pm was a good time because they are just getting off lunch break.  So I SKIPPED my lunch at work and came in for a 1:15 appt.  I had a list of questions and concerns, especially after hearing dr. Guadino almost missed her patient giving birth.  I was 8 minutes into my appointment before the doctor started walking out stating that she was running behind and didn't have time to answer my questions.  She said I could call the office at another time.  With that abrupt statement, I asked the doctor if all of this was normal for her practice and she said it absolutely was normal and to expect this kind of treatment from any other obgyn in Montclair.  My husband and I were appalled by her reaction, appearance, and professionalism. I've spoke to many people and they highly recommended that I find a new doctor.  That being said, I completely understand that some of my questions about being pregnant might seem silly to others, but I just want to be doing the right thing for my baby and body.  I just wanted to be treated seriously and not feel like I was in a baby producing factory.

I am very happy with Dr. Guadino and prefer this office to the previous practice she was affiliated. with. She is warm and responsive and makes you feel at ease. I wasn't sure exactly where the new location was (passed right by the building) but it was easy enough to find when I turned around and realized I had missed the building number sign. The only downside was there seemed to be an awfully lot of patients waiting but my wait time wasn't excessive so maybe they were there for other practitioners.
