Dr. Reese was INCREDIBLY rude to me during my labor. She was unkind and didn’t respect my birth plan. I will never return to Women’s Health Center because of my experience with her.
When I was admitted into labor & delivery, I wanted to hold off on the epidural for a bit. She told me that I would “regret” it & if I refused then, the anesthesiologist may not come back in time-which I found out was a lie! Later, she told me that I would not be able to dilate any more without Pitocin..My labor was progressing-but slowly. Later that night, I was at 6cm. 1 hour later, she came in to check me, & very coldly stated I was now only 4cm, & could not deliver my child. I thought the baby was dying because nothing was explained!
She very coldly stated the baby cannot be delivered without a cesarean because she was Left Occiput Transverse..I think she was just tired, and wanted to deliver! I later found that the baby can rotate with assistance—but she refused.
