Great doctor. Too bad the rest of the staff does not have a good bedside manor, they are very nonchalant about serious issues. At least I'm not dying.

This may sound dramatic, but I can say Dr. Mangual saved my life. In 2004 after having a normal mammogram, I saw Dr. Mangual for a routine visit. In her waiting room I read a magazine article telling women with dense breasts or a family history of breast cancer to get a breast MRI. I asked Dr. Mangual if I could have one, and she said yes. Long story short, I had 2 separate cancers that were not found in the mammogram but were found in the MRI. Had Dr. Mangual not ordered this test for me, how long would these cancers gone un-detected?? As it was, they had already spread to my lymph nodes. I had surgery, chemo and radiation. Now, almost 11 years later, I am still cancer free and thank Dr. Mangual from the bottom of my heart for being such a caring doctor.

I like going her. I've been to a few other places before finding this one and it is definitely the best I've been to. It is an all women practice, which I know some people (including myself) like. They are quick to schedule appointments when you are in need or urgent care and are very calm and respectful of my needs. I feel completely at ease with them. I am always nervous when going to doctors and they make me feel relaxed. I never wait long in the waiting room - maybe 10 minutes if it is a walk-in emergency (like for a UTI). I recommend to all my friends looking for a new gyno!
