I was a recent patient of Dr. Beeckel's until I fired him today. His stigma regarding the use of medicine's that may or may not induce euphoria was getting in the way of him providing ethical and proper quality healthcare for me. I can not understand how some practitioners can rationalize the quality of medical care provided to patients based on what medications are or are not needed. If a medical Doctor maintains the ideology that any patient requiring a certain medication must be "seeking" (I use this terms loosely" then how can they properly care for the chronically injured? Do these Doctors really believe that they can pick and choose which patients to serve as well as deny clinically proven medicines based upon a personal detachment brought on by a rampant national and state stigma? I must implore the facts in my case. That I do not have any afflictions recorded on my medical record to date that would deny me a voice in my medical care. Dr. Peter Beeckel needs to refine his theories on the proper use of medicine if he wishes to continue serving a large population of unique individuals; After all the times would dictate practicality in all things but certainly in the area of medicine...
