Dr. Birsner was extremely professional and immediately applied a halo-brace after I was involved in a very serious car accident. This accident was in May, 1985 and I am just now researching to see the doctors who treated me so well. Dr. Birsner referred me to Dr. Ken Richland in Northridge and he is the one who performed cervical spine surgery.

This doctor cared for me after an extremely bad auto accident. I was on my way back to my home in Southern CA from Las Vegas. It was the middle of the night and I was very fortunate that Dr. Brisner was on duty at the hospital. I broke my neck and was 1/4 mm from being quadriplegic. Dr. Birsner was extremely professional and helpful. He clearly explained what he would have to do and very competently did what was necessary. Upon my release from hospital, he referred me to an excellent neurosurgeon closer to my home in Canoga Park.

They barely gave me any information at all. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I felt worse when I left. I had severe pain as a result of the treatment. I phoned the office repeatedly, but I could not ever get the doctor to speak to me after my treatment. I have lasting pain from the badly botched treatment.
