The doctor really knows what he's doing. company they work for. The dotor takes the time to answer my questions. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan.

Saved by Dr Hansen

I want all to know being from another country that I am a educated Mexican woman who loves Austin. I been to several physician's to care for my back. I had excruciating back and leg pain.

I searched on the web and couldn't find a doctor who could see me right away. I called the office of Dr.Stokes and his staff said he was on vacation then I called again and didn't offer another physician to speak with me about my pain. I was very frustrated then I also called a back doctor Wupperman then called his office and his staff was very rude and didn't understand my heavy accent. I write better than I speak.

I then visited a doctor named Dr. James Hansen I called his office for an apt then I was scheduled the same day. I was very sketchy at first but then I felt more at ease and finally after a 23 min wait I got to see the doctor his PA was seeing another patient so I visited with the Dr. himself. After the wait he understood my accent and was happy he would help me after all the tests I took he realized I needed surgery and assured me it was up to me when I wanted the surgery but guided me toward if I waited too long my back may be in more pain.

after 1 month later.
I couldn't stand the pain crying and I could barely walk upright. My surgery was a great success. My cousin now lives in Buda and will be seeing Dr. Hansen for his neck problems.

I used Dr. Hansen as my back doctor due to pain I had in lower back. He said I needed the sl4 and sl5 removed and replace with titanium balls. I was released the same day due to a conference he was to be at. I came home in so much pain it was unbearable. I was told I could go home and do what ever I wished. I couldn't move due to the pain. It didn't get better the next day and when we tried to reach someone and leave a message NO one called back. It was beginning to get very scary. My daughter went to the office 3 days after surgery and spoke to PA (Shawn) and he had nothing to say but that Dr. Hansen was still gone. My daughter raised the roof to say the least. One year after surgery my only option is morfene patch. I wasn't even on pain meds when I began seeing him. I have since found a wonderful Dr. and I have permanet nerve damage due to the titanium balls that were way to big for the area. Upon research of these titanium balls they no longer use them and they were to be removeable but my new Dr. tried everything and couldn't get them out. So I'm left crippled and can no longer work. This is my story.
