I had L4-L5 discectomy surgery by Dr Hollis in 12/2014 and have never felt better for that problem. I also had a bulging disc at L5-S1 that just recently herniated and will likely need to be repaired as well. It was not causing me pain at the time of the December surgery so there was no need to touch it. Just unlucky that it recently herniated, but I'm going with Dr Hollis for this as well. He's been very patient with me, explains everything in understandable language and takes as much time as I need to understand. He also fixed my father's L4-L5 herniation about 15 years ago and my dad, a heavy lifting mechanic, is in better shape than me at 60 than I am at 37. Dr Hollis is no nonsense, to the point and I feel thoroughly confident in his abilities.
I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them.
Dr.Hollis is the best surgeon I've ever experienced .He saved my life.
They never made any effort to follow up with me after my visit and it made me feel very unimportant. I know they see a lot of patients, but when you say you're going to follow up, you should. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it. There was only a couple of times where the staff was actually able to answer my questions. Most of the time, they'd refer me to their boss or another staff member. After all that he spent ELEVEN minutes total with me, charged me for a 40 minute visit, and I left the office in tears. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHYSICIAN ON ANY LEVEL.
