In October 2014, I went to see her for help. My wife and I had been swimming on Make Horse Beach on Molokai and I was unable to get out of the water and up the beach due to long term (multiple operations) left knee problems. I had always said I would not have another knee operation until I could not do what was important to me. Dr. R was wonderful and explained very clearly the procedure and my otherwise options. I had the TKR surgery on 3 November 2014 and yesterday June 14, our 46th wedding anniversary, we swam off Make Horse Beach and I was able to enter and exit the surf without difficulty all thanks to the wonderful care provided by Dr. Rasmussen.
