All the prep work (diagnosis, scheduling for operation, etc.) is done by David Scott, Dr. Roger's physician's assistant. David is a great person to work with and answered all my questions. I met Dr. Roger two days before the operation, for about 10 minutes. This was o.k. with me, as I was not concerned with his personality but with his surgical ability, which everyone I talked with was rated "excellent." Dr. Roger uses a new hip replacement technique which took 28 minutes to complete. At noon I was able to walk without a walker for 420 ft., then another 200 ft at 4pm with Dr. Roger and then another 420 ft at 8pm before I went to bed. This was the day of the operation. There was little to no pain. I checked out the next day. I have a thin 4 inch scar in my right hip. No muscles were cut, only one tendon. Based on my experience, I'd recommend Dr Roger for hip replacement surgery.

One thing that I don't appreciate, is that they close exactly at their scheduled time whether someone needs help or not. I can't count on them to help me if I show up even a couple of minutes past their closing time. The staff didn't seem to know a whole lot about the company they worked for. Every single time I'd ask them a question, they'd refer me to someone else. It was very frustrating. They left me alone in the appointment room for quite a while. I wish that they had been more courteous and respectful. They used a bit too much foul language for my comfort. I went to see the doctor today he was late. When i got to see him he cam in and said to me dont mess with me you'll be lucky to leave here alive if he had a problem before seeing me he should have left it outside I will never see this jerk again by the way my knee is still hurting as i write this review dont waste your time
