Dr. Marxen was referred to me by my primary care doctor. I had been having trouble with my hip joints hurting when walking like rubbing bone on bone. I had no problems in making an appointment with Dr. Marxen's office. I was x-rayed there by his technician. Then shortly after he saw me in an examining room. After looking at the x-rays he explained everything to me, that I had Osteoarthritis in both hips and the right one was the most advanced of the two. After operating on the right hip, he told me that on examining the bone joint he had removed, the damage to it was so far advanced that the bone was beginning to cave inward. The left hip was still going bad and he operated on it ten months later when it started to pain me. Dr. Marxen is my "HERO." He is very professional, caring and throughly explains every thing to you. No question you as is left unanswered. His staff are also the best. Being retired military, I had never been to someone like him or in a civilian hospital like Sharp Grossmont. However, I can say nothing but excellent words about Dr. Marxen and the hospital. I would highly recommend both to anyone without a doubt.

Very pleased with the care I received from Jeffrey Marxen. After seeing many doctors for my hip issues, I can assure you that Dr. Marxen is a very good orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Jeffery Marxon is one of the best and most through doctors I have been to. I have refered many of my friends and he has always done an A+ job taking care of them and their problems. My own experiences, I had both my shoulders done approxamately 7 years ago, I am now 62. I have had no problems since the surgery and have full use of my shoulders and no pain. I would recommend Dr. Jeff Marxen to anyone who wants a job well done by a Dr. who really knows what he is doing.
