I had lumbar fusion surgery over a year ago by Dr. Linda D'Andrea. She was good leading up to the surgery, but following the surgery it is like she fell off the map. Did not call me back. Did not accurately inform me as to how I would feel after the surgery. Told me I would be able to do just about everything after the surgery as before, but this has not been true at all. That my pain should be gone after the surgery (well after a few months post op - this has not been the case at all). I went through 9 months of physical therapy two to three times per week. Still go once a week because that is all I can afford anymore. I still have constant pain every single day in my low back - it has not improved. The pain in the area of the surgery has changed. It is a different sensation, but it hurts equally as bad and is equally debilitating. I never had sciatica previously - now I get it several times throughout the day. She does not return my phone calls, her medical assistant occasionally will call back - but, this person does not relay messages accurately - nor follow up reliably. Basically was cast to the side once it became clear my surgery had been a failure.

I had a herniated disc and was in exquisite pain. She continued a script that the ER doctor had initiated for a narcotic. I was a prisoner of a recliner for over a month and NOT ONCE did she or her staff ask how I was coping with my pain. They made getting my meds a major obstacle, giving me less than one weeks meds for an 8th day refill. (40 pills while 42 required). On a holiday week end I was with out meds for two days and when I called in I placed a formal request for another script for 3 days from then so we didn't have a repeat. Finally a light bulb went off in someone's head and they added 10 more pills to the script that would allow a one day buffer. She sent me to another associate practice to have steroid shots for the disc. She wanted them to take over my pain management. When I asked if she would add additional pills to my script to allow me to make it to my next appointment with the other specialist, her nurse acted as though it was an annoyance. She hemmed and hawed and I finally blurted out "Don't TROUBLE YOURSELF! I'll get with the other doctors and be done with you. Have a nice day!" and hung up.

I then get a letter discharging me do to MY RUDE behavior.

She's borderline medical malfeasance and her depraved indifference to my suffering is criminal, in my opinion.

She's not a medical professional. She's building a practice; a business model. It runs much better if the patients are considered cattle.
