PARENTS BEWARE: doctor orders tests that are unusual and insurance won't cover them. Trying to get them to fill out a form to have your insurance settled causes an onerous burden that I still haven't fully resolved. They schedule appointments without informing you and then charge you when you miss them. Nothing informative came out of my appointment with Dr. Pluta and I ended up with more questions and no answers. The doctor isn't what you would expect for a pediatric doctor - I wouldn't call her "kid-friendly." There was one very pleasant receptionist there but the other two are unhelpful. In retrospect, I wish I had followed my pediatrician's recommendation to go to another GI but due to the 3-month wait list i went to this doctor instead. I strongly suggest finding another doctor for your children.

I have been going with my daughter to Dr. Pluta for the last year and highly recommend her. She is a very knowledgeable doctor with many years of experience. She always takes her time with us and is very thorough. Excellent doctor.
