Very attentive to my questions and medical history, patient and took time to answer my questions in detail. Have had 2 procedures over past 9 years and everything went very smoothly with no ill effects. Goes the extra mile to insure comfort and safety.

Had an appointment today at 3:30 scheduled weeks ago. They cancelled today by leaving message on my phone.

Medical care in this town sucks because nobody gives a damn about a new patient.

Any other business would fail with such incompetence.

This review does not reflect on Dr. Zimmerman, himself, but on the woman who took my files from me for him to review. She was borderline rude. She asked me why I chose him rather than one of the others. I told her he was mentioned and not the others. When I noticed the names of his partners at that facility, I would not have seen them. I had two very negative experiences with doctors of Persian ancestry. One ignored me when I told him certain blood pressure meds did not work and gave me a dose that was borderline fatal. The other doctor, a heart specialist, was told by me that I metabolized anesthetics 40% faster than most people. He ignored me and I woke up on the table 20 minutes before the procedure was done. This revealed a possible cultural attitude, so while I have gone to doctors with such backgrounds, I had to establish some rapport.
I was told I had to get my records and bring them to Dr. Zimmerman's office, including a copy of the MRI. I did. Some facilities, such as the VA, will not give records directly to patients. Ten days after leaving my record copies with Dr. Z's office, I have no phone call. The receptionist was borderline rude and did not even keep the MRI disc. She was borderline rude and I felt that she had "filtered" me out as a patient. If this is so, I will ask that she be fired. If the breakdown is with another front office person, I will ask the same for them. If Dr. Zimmerman does not want me as a patient, I would liked to have known in a timely way. He may be the best, but the second best that will see me soon is better than the best who never responds. By the way, another referral resulted in an appointment as early as June 3d if I wanted. They are moving locations in May and already booked solid, although on hearing my problem, the scheduler tried to fit me into their current schedule. So much for the office of the so-called best.

i went to see dr z when i needed to find a new gastro dr for my crohns. the minute he walked in the door he said "well i see youve seen alot of drs" i replied it was because i hadnt found one that listened to me and helped me. he then stated " your going to get hepatitis from your tattoo. i really disliked his attitude.

Waited weeks for an appointment only to be told 4 hours prior to my appt. that they don't accept my insurance!! Do I get to bill them for not giving me 24 hours cancellation Notice? They had my insurance information long before the appt. date.
Incompetence is becoming rampant, especially in the medical field.
