Dr. Nassif used drugs for his convenience and not to help me. He barely gave me any information at all. I had to do my own research to get my questions answered about the truly unethical anesthesia he used after the fact- it caused me to be a zombie and not remember (not to decrease anxiety or pain) what he did. He did not explain the potential problems with Midazolem and I had a bad reaction, experiencing rage and anxiety for weeks after the colonoscopy. I also couldn't sleep at all for five days. I will have to be unconscious to use him again. Also I had to go back to the ER the very next day with heart bigeminy that was probably an outcome of dealing with his rough work and reaction to severe anemia without appropriate treatment and/or reaction to the Midazolem to which about 23% of everyone exposed to it have some sort of problem. In fairness, I think he is a good technician who can work with one organ at a time, without regard for the human that it belongs to.

I used this doctor when I came in for emergency procedures in the hospital. To be fair, I think he is probably very competent in many ways, but should not have used the amnesia inducing drug midazolem without more discussion. if I had understood the potential harms and risks of it versus other alternatives, I would never have agreed to it. Maybe I am still under the influence of the anxiety caused by the amnesia, anger, fogginess a week later, but I feel that this drug nearly caused another heart attack with the bigeminy episode that started very soon after the procedure. No one from this doctor's office is even following up to report the adverse reaction as far as I know - I would never use him again or ever consent to any procedure that induces amnesia with versed, midazolem, or any other like poison! I think it is unprofessional to treat people in this manner.
