February 2017, I was a patient of Dr Vendegna. I became ill with a lung infection. I had a scheduled appointment with the Dr in April but, called to see him for this infection. I didn’t get an appointment but, I was prescribed a Z pack. It didn’t work. I was prescribed another. It didn’t work. I was prescribed a third. Each time I asked to see the Dr. I ended up hospitalized with an oxygen level of 81. Through my stay the Hospitalist tried to contact Dr V whose office was across the street. He never visited. I was released on oxygen and told by the Hospitalist that the only reason he was releasing me was that he had spoken to Dr V and Dr V would see me the next day. The next day I went to his office and was told by his staff “We are not a walk in clinic where you can just drop in”. “You have an appointment in April.”
Doctor friends in the San Francisco area were very concerned and got me an appointment with Pulmonologist there. I was given rudimentary tests never offered before and proper care. In April I kept my appointment with Dr V. I saw his PA who was clueless as to the recent history.
I am writing this now because I became aware of Dr V now being in charge of French and read some of his reviews. Just thought I’d add mine to the mix.
