I've been to several opthalmologists, and Dr. Shang was the best one I've seen. She was able to accurately diagnose my issue and resolve the problem.

Recommended by Charles Manger, MD who did Lasik surgery. Does a very thorough job, listens, and appointments are always on time. Very nice personality.

I had an emergency situation with my eye recently and was able to get in as a new patient right away. I'm squeamish about eyes and anyone getting near them but she did the exam in such a gentle way that made it so much easier for me. I really appreciated the caring way in which I was treated. Even though I went to see Dr. Shang for an emergency, I'm definitely going to make her my regular eye doctor now!

They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here.

This was the worst experience i have ever had at a so called professional. She was late, rude, pushy and over charged me. I called about the over charges and the Dr. Shang would not talk to me or return my calls. When i asked for my medical records she sent me the wrong ones twice. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy , WATCH OUT, SHE IS ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR MONEY>

After being seen by several other doctors, I was beginning to think that there was no effective treatment for my eye condition. I finally had my problem solved when I saw Dr. Shang recently. She was patient and thorough and most importantly, explained everything in a way that I could easily understand. I only wished that I went in to see her earlier! If you're looking for a doctor that is thorough and competent, then I would definitely recommend her.
