The staff at the desk was unhelpful. I had to ask for my Rx one person looked blanked, another told it was across the room with the Optition. The Dr hadi it in his hand as he guided me out of the office, but wouldn't hand it to me.

Dr. Couris told me I would need a cataract removed within a year and handed my literature about it, but told me nothing other than how it's obscuring my sight. He is the only Dr. my HMO will pay. I might go elsewhere anyway.

I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.

If I were in some kind of an emergency I'd go back. Otherwise, I'm going to look for something better. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. The staff must have not been trained very well. Almost every time I would ask them a question, they'd refer me to their boss or someone else.

I felt the Doc insisted I under go expensive test not related to my issue. Not being a Dr. I fallowed the recommenations, later found he was way off base.
He also insisted I make appt with his friends at other locations for unknown reasons. - thought it was strange. He seemed to care acted like I was the only pt - that was cool - but not the crazy expensive test not related to my problem.

Not at all, it was very peaceful and quiet

Be prepared to deal with the reliably rude and unprofessional office staff. Every time I went I felt like I was intruding. I doubt phrases like "thank you," and "have a nice day" have ever been uttered in that office. Plus it's impossible to get an appointment within a couple months. Not worth it; there are plenty of excellent opthalmolgists that actually care about their patients and appreciate your loyalty.
