Everyone I know goes to Dr. Essepian. I chose him after talking to my friends. I think my eyes are among the most important organs I have and I knew I faced surgery with mine. Dr. Essepian operated on both my eyes vey successfully, with no complications. Added to this, I contracted a thyroid problem, Graves Disease, just before my scheduled surgery and I had to postpone the eye surgery, see a endocrinologist and spend six months waiting for eye surgery. Dr. Essepian worked with me and when my problems cleared up, he checked me thoroughly before operating. I now see him once a year. I only wish everyone could have the quality of care he gives his patients.

I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. I had Dr. McCabe, who was fine, but the staff were terrible. They didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. So when they bill your insurance company they have no idea what to write. I ended up having to pay out of pocket. Even though they had my information right in went there. They cancelled my appointment and asked me to come in at another time. I was very disappointed.

They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. I've been looking for a great ophthalmologist and I think I finally found it. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help.
