We didn't have insurance and paid $150 for a 5 min office visit. Now I'm not complaining about the money even though I feel that we were cheated out of it, but he didn't even spend 5 minutes with us and rushed us out. We are dealing with male infertility and he slapped a prescription on us without any kind of blood work or exam and told us to come back in 3 months. Our first semen analysis was less than 2 million. He took the medicine for 3 months and his repeat semen analysis was ZERO!! I will never go back to him, nor will I ever recommend him!

No. It took me several times to get through.
Were you able to relax during your appointment?
Yes

Not really. I usually have to wait a long time

He witnessed me being mistreated AGAINST MY WILL in the operating room when one of his collegues (MANISH SHAH) directed me to be given a general anesthesia following a failed spinal. WHen he was called to court, he had NO memory of wht he had told me he saw-- how convienent for both him and his parther! He diagnosed prostate cancer in a friend of mine and then told him he would NOT reccomend robotic surgery for that as it was still EXPERIMENTAL...No it had been done HUNDREDS of times in nearby Birmingham but Dr. Pirani and his practice would have lost a surgical fee had my friend opted for that procedure. Two years later when Gadsden got a daVInci robot guess what Dr. Pirani said on tv? THE GREATEST for prostate operations and MUCH better on virtually every account.....since he can now do the procedure locally or one of his collegues.....it is WONDERFUL? My opinion is that I would never turst him for advice that was in MY BEST INTEREST.... it looked like he was looking out (financially) for HIMSELF in the situation I related.....If you MUST go to CLinical Urology Associates where he (and Dr. SHAH are) ask for DR WADE-- I hear only good things about him
