This August of 2016 will be 8 yrs. since I under went surgery with this DPM and to this day I have had problems with my foot since the very beginning. My problems got worst after surgery than they ever were before! When I asked him if I needed physical therapy he said no. And, now reading my surgery report he stated there were no complications. Actually, there were complications with the anesthesia! I also found out recently that he stopped practicing.. hmm wonder why!?

Dr. Horlebein did a major reconstruction of both of my feet. It went flawlessly and now--five years later--I am still thrilled at the great result. My life has been greatly enhanced by having strong, functional feet. My knee and hip problems resolved by themselves once the foot problem was fixed. Thank you, Dr. Horlebein!

This DR was thorough in the exam room but would talk about everything but my foot. He discussed his divorce more than my foot. When it came to do the surgery, he said he might cut the nerve but he would work around it so it did no happen. There was a 10 percent chance it might happen. Well he cut the nerve and after six years I still have nerve damage to my foot. He told my wife what happened and would not come to my room post-surgery and explain what happened. If surgery was successful or not. He left the hospital and I saw him two weeks later at a follow-up.
