I went there when I was pregnant. He wanted to prescribe something for me to take orally. Even though I had informed him that I was pregnant, I reminded him again and he said that I couldn't take it. Good thing I didn't trust that he listened to me the first time. Front desk woman was super rude and lazy. Made my appointments w a piece of a bagel hanging out of her mouth, fought with me and hung up on me because I heard her mumbling under her breath about me on the phone and called her out on it. Asked to speak to the dr about it and was given the run around for 2 weeks until I finally just kept calling. He said we both were at fault. No customer service skills at all in that office. Prescriptions called in wrong then tried to tell me I was wrong about it, rude, long wait, etc. horrible experience!!

I found him to be nice a guy, but I had visited a another podiatrist before this one and he didn't solve my problem or even listen to me. Dr. Gus did do an x-ray at least and said he would do a MRI if my problem didn't go away. My problem didn't go away and when I asked for the referral to get the MRI, then he never returned my phone calls.
I have borderline fractures in my foot.

I suffer from both plantar fasciitis and a bone spur. After some visits, It was decided that I would need surgery for both problems. I went to the Dr. to make the final arrangements. He informed me that I could not have both surgeries at once since one needed me to use my weight on my foot and the other no weight at all. I was giving my prescriptions for an Xray, blood work and EKG. The reception informed me that she will contact me with the date. I waited a few days and when she did not get back to me, I called her I received a confirmation date and was instructed to come into the office to sign a consent form. I asked if this was a regular visit and would I have to pay a co-pay since I already went to the Dr. 5 days earlier. I hung up the phone and relayed this message to my husband. He called back and the receptionist said no problem, we will waive the fee. A few minutes later she called back and stated the Dr. was insulted and refuses to do the surgery. How unprofessional.
