I visited this doctor in 2022 for a plantar plate tear. I was immediately advised of surgery. I scheduled the surgery but I had to cancel. I didn’t return in 2024 which clearly shows my condition was not very severe. I developed a slight hammertoe, and surgery again was was the recommendation to repair the planter plate and straighten the toe. I did have the surgery done in January 2025 and unfortunately, the risks of this procedure were never discussed with me. Also the actual procedure and steps that will be taken. I decided to go for a two other opinions and all physicians were quite surprised at the large incision and the steps that were taken to repair my toe. A significant amount of bone was cut , resulting in a short toe and bones being fused together, so I could never bend my toe. I have also developed a floating toeWhich requires another procedure to correct that. I had a very invasive procedure for something that was very minor. Choose your surgeon very carefully!!!!!

I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while.
