This is by far the most disappointed I've ever been with a practice. First of all their nurses are rude and stand offish. I'd been going to this practice for 3 and half years and all along I felt this practice was very good because I didn't know better. To start with when my daughter was born, Dr Jackson did not even come to see my daughter instead she sent her friend who covers for her every now and then, that should have been the first red flag. I over looked it but over the years, every time my children got sick and I called to have them seen, the nurses were so quick to tell me to take them to ER. The one time they actually saw my sick child was when I went off on the Dr asking her if she's there to see patients or just to immunize. Anyways fast forward to now.

On 7/23/2015 I had called to confirm my son n daughter's appt with the nurses, since I always got a call to remind me as well as email, I didn't receive neither. So when I called one of the nurses told me that "well it's not their responsibility to remind me of my appt, and that it's something they don't have to do" . Mind you, I've been going to this practice for 3 and half years for two of my children and each immunization visit I always received a call 48 hours before, sometimes an email, and even on my previous visit they didn't give me the appt card because I was like you always call anyways. So when I asked why all of a sudden they didn't call, she started lying that she did and I asked her what time she called, she said she can doesn't keep track of her calls. I would have let this go if she just admitted that she forgot to call me and stopped acting like she's doing me a favor by me going to the practice. All she kept saying is that I'm owing them $25 for each child. I said fair enough, if they can please check to make sure I don't have any balance for my children besides the $50 ($25 for each), they said there was an outstanding bill of $20 for my son. So a total of $70 which I paid for immediately and told them I was not returning to the practice. I received an invoice in the mail 2 days later.

On 8/3/2015 I received a letter from collection saying on 7/31/15 lovekids reported we are owing them $20. I called the collection agency and they are giving me the run around. So the practice has decided to punish me for leaving them by trying to mess up my credit. Over $20 which I paid the day I told them my children were not coming back.

I feel sorry for Dr Jackson because she looks like a nice person but she lets those nurses fun her practice and do whatever they want. If you plan to leave may sure they don't try to do this to you.

Dr. Jackson is an excellent pediatrician who was referred to me by several friends. She has great bedside manner, the staff is very friendly and caring and my son loved her. I highly recommend her.

PS. And, she gives incentives to her patients who do well in school. I love that!!!
