Very disappointed in the management from the front desk in this facility. It’s unfortunate to say that the front office is the face of the practice and if you don't have staff that actually wants to help patients then your patients are most likely to leave. I’ve been taking my kids to this place for the past twelve years and my kids were one of Dr. Karam’s first patients.
Needless to say that at the time where he was needed the most as a “Pediatrician,” he didn’t even return my call and then decided to deny service to two of his patients. I was advised that if I did not pay for services out of pocket and sign a waiver I could not be seen.
Front office was aware that my kids’ insurance is currently going through a renewal process and would be active in a few days. I was not upset because of the fact that I had to pay at the time services are being rendered. On the contrary that was not the problem at all, but having me sign a waiver giving up my right to request that you bill my insurance for dates rendered once insurance becomes active is outrageous. I don’t even know if this is legal.
Anyhow, I will be changing to a different pediatrician after all this. I honestly thought that Dr. Karam would have been a bit more professional about all this and at least returned my call and explained the situation.
After being treated the way I was I would not recommend anyone taking their children to this place. If you’re looking to build that patient/ MD relation this is not that place for you. All they care about is the money!! Patients are not worth anything to them here!!

Absolutely! They gave me plenty of information about child safety and nutrition

Not at all! They give my child exactly what he/she needs

They offer the best pricing I've ever seen. I couldn't believe how little I ended up having to pay. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. They've stayed open past their closing times many times when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them.
My whole experience at this office was above average starting with their very comfortable waiting room chairs to how patient and kind they were to my child. They were just fantastic.
They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan.

Not at all. They were happy to give me as much information as I wanted

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed.
