We had our first apt with Dr. Tanner last week after struggling with my daughter's epilepsy for 8 years working with the University of Michigan (she started seizures at 14)
We found Dr. Tanner and her staff to be interactive, friendly and VERY thorough. We talked about diet, exercise, lifestyle, stressors, medication, etc at a level and depth we never had with her former neurologists at U of M.
We felt we were listened to and when we left our appointment we had a full panel of 9 tests to be conducted and they are setting up appointments with a nutritionist, a psych counsel, a cognitive behavioral therapist set of appts, etc.
Our daughter felt a sense of relief that we're FINALLY making headway and she IMMEDIATELY began putting Dr. Tanner's suggestions into place and is seeing results already!

Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. They've never used foul language. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Every time I'm put on hold here I have to wait quite a while for them to get back to the call. Although I have had to wait longer at other places, I was still pretty unimpressed with their phone etiquette. This provider has very little helpful information available online. It could use a bit of polishing up. Over all the Dr. is fairly knowledgeable, and courteous, which is nice.

They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I was intimidated at first because she is very direct, but she completely made up for it with knowledge and helping me to understand what I was going through,
