My first visit to Dr. Bahntge hardly lived up to the reviews I have seen posted here. He was professional but brusque. I do understand that in a busy private practice setting, doctors rely on heuristics to make rapid judgments with each patient. However, chronically ill patients don’t fit this scenario and instead present with a “wild constellation” of symptoms that need exploration. He did perform a thorough examination for “one” symptom, however he was unwilling to hear about any other symptom(s) that may have been related. It was clear that he wanted to move on to other patients. It was of concern that he claimed to have done a comprehensive chart review prior to my visit, nonetheless, he missed a very major health condition and an immunocompromised system. I ultimately saw another neurologist who listened to my concerns, correlated the information, performed the necessary testing and arrived at a diagnosis. I have now started the vital treatment for the condition Dr. Bahntg missed!

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.
