Lovely man and seems to be a caring neurologist. However, you cannot get a call back from his office. My husband has Parkinson's and we have called the Riverhead office numerous times and just can't get anyone to call back or to answer the phone!! This is unacceptable. We have told Dr. Pflaster about this and nothing changes.

I wasn't greeted at all when I entered their office. I could tell they noticed I walked in, but they still didn't acknowledge me. I have been to this office for a variety of reasons with a parent and alone. When my parent, who suffers from dementia arrived we had to wait almost 2 hours before we were taken into a room. Only then because another patient told us to go ahead of them since it was cruel to keep my parent waiting even longer. We were told by the staff that the wait time was not unusual and we should expect same in the future. The doctor on that visit was very helpful but from start to finish we spent approximately 4 hours there. Afterwards I was told at the pharmacy that the prescriptions given were not to be prescribed together. Phone calls were not returned for over a week after we suspected a drug interaction. THe professionals may know what they are doing but they just have too many patients and clearly can not do a good job because of it.
