Take my advice - find another doctor. First he makes you wait .75 - 1.5 hours in the exam room. Forget trying to get a hold of him outside of the office. He does not take calls. Most of the communication with his office is through third parties. I never felt that he was telling me the whole story - only what he thought I needed to know. He does not seem to be in any hurry to address the issues. There are much better doctors out there
This guy was referred by our primary doctor. He did a 5 minute talk with my husband, said he would wait for our other Dr's report on echocardiogram which was negative. He did absolutely nothing to deserve charging our insurance company $408.00. I would never refer this guy nor would we never, ever see him again. It was a waste of time, especially when you are very ill. Because of this guy my husband care was prolonged and then he again had a fever of 104 and ended up in a hospital in St. Louis where a Infectious Disease doctor diagnoised him. It this guy didn't know what was wrong with my husband, he should not have charged a penny let alone $408. My advice is find someone who cares about you and if they don't know what is wrong, they say so. I don't give this Dr. Painter any stars, only thumbs down.
