I went to see Dr. Johansen today for my 9 week pregnancy. I was first dissatisfied with having to fill out 3 hours of paperwork prior to going to the office for my first visit. The wait time was not bad, and the front office people were friendly. The building was really old and not kept very clean. It wasn't filthy but not acceptable for a dr. office. The Dr. first asked me what my concerns were about the pregnancy. I told him when I had a surgery for ectopic in December they found abnormal cells on my cervix. I had a normal pap in April, but an ER dr. recently (4 weeks ago) told me he found a white lesion on my cervix. He told me he was unable to say what it was since he was not an OB. Well he agreed to take a look at my cervix. He said he did not see it there anymore if it was there before. Well I asked him what could it have been. He changed the subject. I asked again, and again he changed the subject. I explained that I am not asking for a diagnosis but it would make me feel better to know some other explanation then cancer for what happened to me. He said "If you want to know so bad google it." Are you serious? This is why we pay doctors... to give us information we need. I told him "I already did google it." He replied "Then you probably know more about the situation then me." What the heck did he buy his degree or something? He says google is more knowledgeable even though he graduated medical school. That just does not seem right to me. I even ask "Could it have been a cyst or something?" since I read something about nabothian cysts online. He tells me cysts grow on the ovaries and not the cervix WRONG... I don't know what is wrong with this dr. He tells me its not going to work out and he will walk me to the door, oh yeah and that he tried very hard to make me happy which was a lie. I tell him I am not two years old I can walk out myself, and I left. This dr. was the rudest dr. I have ever met, not to mention he doesn't know about anything medically that I have seen.
