I was 50 and not in menopause yet when I had a hysterectomy & Ovaries removed. He refused to put me on any hormone replacement even to step me down from full hormones to none after surgery. After 15 years (now 65) I am still getting hot flashes. Not a history for any other women in my family. He didn't seem to think hot flashes where much of a problem but it could have lessened the shock to my body and perhaps avoided the onset or severity of the hot flashes. I now have a female gynecologist who seems much more understanding of women's needs.

Dr. West is great , he and his staff always get me in very quickly. I was diagnosed with HPV and went to him for a second opinion. He explained everything in detail, and made me feel more comfortable about the situation. I will continue to use him at my regular Doctor!
