Dr. Light himself was amazing I had a emergency situation and met him when I walked into Huntsville hospital. I was 34 weeks pregnant with high blood pressure and couldn't breath. My previous ob would not deliver. Dr. Light did agree that I needed an emergency delivery and did so. Hours after delivery I ended up in icu on a ventilator. I am alive today because of Dr. Light and my baby is also doing great because of him. If I had listed to my prior ob I would most likely died at home. Although I love Dr. Light is staff in his office is the worst I have ever seen in my life. My six week follow up appointment took over two hrs. The nurses didn't write down the four prescriptions that he prescribed did not call them into the pharmacy. When I called to see why not the nurses told me that it was dangerous for me to take what he told me to take. The two medications were Aygestin and the Nuvaring. I have taken these prescriptions with three prior deliveries with three different obs and they completely safe. I do not appreciate any nurse telling me that she wont call in a prescription that doctor ordered and telling me that it dangerous for me to take them if I get them from another doctor. Further complaints will be filed against the nurses in question one being Priscilla and the other Martha. Another thing that happened at four weeks post pardum I called the office to see if they would call me in a nuvaring to get me to my check up in two weeks the nurse laughed at me and told me they wouldn't do that I would have to find other forms. I did get another Dr. to give the prescription. The entire purpose of going to the dr is to get need prescriptions and these nurses in this office make it their mission to make it very difficult or make sure you have to go to another dr to get them at all.

I was a very high risk pregnancy -Dr.Light and his staff took excellent care of me and my son....no question was too small, no concern too light....at the delivery,God delivered our baby and Dr.Light was proudly there to catch him! They knocked before entering the exam room, and even waited for me to reply that I was ready before entering. They really respected my privacy. The restrooms at this office were spotless. It smelled amazing in there and looked immaculate. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out.

I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. This is one of the friendliest and most welcoming offices I've ever visited. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care.
