This was the most horrible experience ever. I walked in, didnt get a hello, not a how are you doing, not a welcome...nothing....I just stood there and said Hi to get the staffs attention. The lady at the front desk responds by saying "sign in" and points at a blank sheet of paper on a clip board. She was extremely unprofessional. After signing in, I sit down and wait for an hour and 15 minutes before being called to the room. The nurse was nice, she checks my weight, asks some questions, and then escorts me into the room. The room looked very dirty. The utensils from the previous visit were still on the counter. They KY jelly was open and leaking next to a used speculum from the previous patient. DISGUSTING!!! The exam table/bed had crumbled paper on it from the previous visit and a dirty old pillow underneath it. You know how a pillow looks after a few years without a pillow case? It had yellow stains all over it from drool marks. Yea, again, disgusting. Anyways the nurse replaced the used portion of the paper on the exam table after she escorted me into the room but left that dirty pillow underneath it so I ended up throwing the pillow on the floor between the exam table and the wall. I wanted to leave soooo bad but I had taken off work (which is not easy) and was already there so I stayed. Well anyways, Dr. Ratra came in and was very friendly, she definitely knew what she was doing and made me feel a little more comfortable...I made sure to watch her use all new utensils but she did touch the KY jelly that had obviously been previously touched from the last patients exam....so Im praying that I dont get anything from that contact. yuck!! never again! This was a nightmare, I will never go back.

Their staff was not friendly at all, it seems they feel "entitled" to work there, they answer the phone "dr's office"? I asked is this Dr. Ratra's office, "yeah", how professional does that sound? I would prefer to hear "Dr Ratra's office, How may I assist you?"
The ONLY reason I go is because Dr Ratra is so good! If she was so-so and I had to deal with the staff, I'd leave.

Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!

Never, they go out of their way to address every concern of mine immediately

not friendly staff, therefore very frustrating. My prenatal appointments were cancelled twice before I made my first visit. The staff are not professional enough to take my blood sample and send to the lab. I had to make separate trips to the lab to get blood tests. And they didn't give me any warning of the possibility that it might not be covered by every health insurance when they ordered the Cystic Fibrosis screen test, which cost me $600. On top of that, on my both visits I had to wait for over an hour before I see the Doctor. Definately not recommended!!! Doctor's experience is important, but the service from the staff is too frustrating. I made a switch to another OBG without any hesitation.
