I would never recommend this office to anyone. I have seen both Dr. E Kane and the nurse practitioner Helen Hannah; both have poor bedside manners. Procedures feel rushed, and even they couldn't find out what was causing my mother's flares. On top of the rude behavior, their office staff are inconsistent with billing. Upon receiving my annual "free" check-up; I was told I owe $200, and wasn't allowed to see the doctor until it was paid. This office will go far to bill you charges, even if you pay at every visit.

My mother had not been seen for over a few years and when I called to make the apt I was told that she would be considered a new patient and that they are not accepting new patients. But that they would make an exception, so I scheduled it for their next available (1 month out). We arrived early and waited, then receptionist called us to the front after 45 minutes and asked us a lot of question to update the system, and sat and waited again for another 30 mins. To be called back up again and told that my mom wont be seen because she is considered a new patient and they are not taking new patients....after waiting over an hour. So Iexplained to them that the Dr said she would make an exception over the phone.

I asked to speak to the Dr. but she came and spoke to the receptionist and completely ignored us. She gave the receptionist the notes of when I spoke to her on the phone that said specifically that she made the exception. So obviously she was mistaken or had forgotten, she could have atleast apologizes or even a smile "yes I will see your mom" would have been enough....but no she completely ignored us.
We obviously did not feel comfortable to be seen by her anymore so we cancelled the apt and left.
The staff was a little slow and the Dr was a joke....very unprofessional, not polite at all... I would never recommend her to anyone...
