Dr Whittaker is a very carring great doctor BUT the office staff there is VERY rude. Having been a patient there for almost 15 years I was discharged for complaining to the office staff. I did not curse or get loud on the office but did complain about every visit being given a hard time no matter what I needed. I have had several other people with me when I have had these problems from my mother to one of my children and asking for a copy of a letter concerning the use of satey belts while driving. It is a shame that Dr Whittaker is willing to loose a 15 year patient without even asking the patients part of what happened in his office the day the problem occured. I have worked with several companies that are family busnesses and it is hard to make a complaint when the office manager is the Dr's wife. I have spoken to many people who have all siad the same thing including the one patient that was there for a office visit the day of my altercation with the office staff and they commented the same Dr Whittaker is great but the office staff was rude as well. One last comment was another staff member stating that they made a statment to myself and my mother that did not happen other than that office member stating on how rude the people in the office were to patients as well. I can understand why she would have to change her story in front of the office manager I would guess so she would not be black flagged and loose her job, I am just sorry that Dr Whittaker has gone to loosing patients with such a long office history and not atleast wanting to know what is going on. Sounds a little strange to keep loosing long time patients for no more than disagreeing with the office staff when the Dr wasn't even in the office the day of the incodent. Thanks again Doc for all of the years of great care, I am still so confused to why you continue to get complaints from patients and nothing ever seems to change other than the rudeness continuing on and get worse. After awhile you will run out of people to loose. I hope you are able to look into these matters and hopfully for your other patients they can get the overall great care that you have given to me over the years before it is to late.
