Dr Gerard overall is a very nice doctor and seemed to care about me and my girls. As a family doctor he was good. However, his staff was AWFUL. I waited at least 45 minutes for every appointment and when I asked when we would be getting in it was if I was putting them out by asking. The last straw was when I took my daughter for her kindergarten vaccine and the 2 "nurses" jabbed her so hard and not by any means as a pro. It was very unprofessional. Again. Dr. Gerard great his assistant and staff very bad and I no longer felt comfortable taking myself or children there.

Never, they are very reliable.

Dr. Gerard was my Dr for a few years during my short live in northern California. Since then I've moved to Colorado. Now my Dr(s) aren't nearly as good or thorough as he was. Dr Gerard made me feel comfortable and he talked to me as if I were the 'top of the class' rather than the bottom. He spent time with me and was legitimately concerned for my health and wellbeing rather than that ultimate paycheck. I feel that on many occasions he was a friend as well. And I was never in question of my health as I am left with now; currently I really have no idea what's going on and why I feel so awful. My MD I have now isn't so great. I wish every time I go to my new Colorado Dr that I was headed to see Dr Gerard. And if I had the money, I'd fly to Dr Gerard's office for my appointments every time. The next best thing I could do was send my best friend who lives in that area of CA to have him be her Dr so she gets the best care she and her family can get. Dr Gerard is fantastic, and I'd bet off the clock he's a great all around person too. -Laura
