I should have followed my instincts when I first walked in I was appalled at how rundown and disorganized this office was. The staff is extremely rude, when I asked how long it would to see the Dr. the response was the Dr. won't be rushed; you can wait or reschedule. What? My appointment was at 9:30 didn't finish until 12:45. When I finally saw the Dr. he was as disorganized as the staff. This was a first visit and this Dr. order all kinds of expensive tests but never ran a blood test to at least see if my cholesterol was OK. When I called to let them know the my blood pressure meds would had run out prior to next appointment I was told to have the pharmacy fax the request when I had informed them that it had been done over a week ago and they had gotten no response I know was a problem for questioning the disorganization. Needless to say I have now found a doctor who actually cares.
Dr. Sarfo is a horrible doctor. From the insanely long wait times, to his completely negative personality, his entire practice is based on the up sell. Every time I went to his office, there was some new unnecessary test or bank of test his staff had me take to increase his bill to the insurance company. To top it off, prescriptions I have been receiving for years were doled out to me in 2 week increments in order to get me in for more office visits to charge my insurance company. All of this i dealt with until the vile little man began to get short tempered with me and began yelling at me, a long term patient, because I apparently failed to play up my actual long term pain to his liking in order to receive my medication. He is an opportunistic ego-maniacal crack pot. This man should no longer be allowed to practice medicine and should be brought in front of a medical review board.
