I have been going to his office for 10+ years, so you'd think we'd have an established relationship. So I've been sick for a week so decided to make an appointment and did so, gave them my info, went in for my appointment at 3:30 and by 4:15 I asked why I was still waiting. The front desk informed me they didn't have the BCBS phone number. Ok first issue, was the internet down? Isn't that a common insurance? Shouldn't a front office know how to obtain these numbers? And if they can't why wouldn't they tell me so I could look for the number instead of letting me sit in their office spreading my germs. Then once I found the number for them and they tried to call BCBS had already closed for the day, which meant they weren't going to see me. This is an hour after appointment time. I suggested since they knew they accepted BCBS they see me so I can start feeling better and send me a bill. They refused and after I tried to explain why I was upset they shut the glass in my face. Ok so this is wrong and so unprofessional, you should not turn away a sick loyal client because your office staff cannot do their job. I have registered a complaint with the Texas health commission and I will be finding a new doctor. But thanks to them I get to spend my weekend feeling terrible.

Had Dr. G as my doctor for 14 years and he has always been helpful, courteous, very interested in what I have had to say, no matter what the visit. I see him every three months for diabetes maintenance. Had I not found him, I really feel I could be in very bad shape now.

I have gone to Dr. Roberts several times and I have no complaints. Today however I went to see her expecting a $50.00 copayment. The lady at the desk said I did not pay enough of a copayment last year I paid $25 and it was $35 that was fine then she went all the way back to 2008 said I owed money on copayments! It ended up being $111.00! I never received a statement that I owed money never once and to go back to 2008...how do I know I wasn't ripped off I mean come on since 2008. I have been there every year. HowI do that's right she offered no documentation at all. I said really your going to collect back to 2008 and you never sent a statement? The lady just shrugged her shoulders. I think that is unacceptable!!! Had i received a statement it would of been paid. I'm like most people and on a budget wasn't expecting this and there was no offer of making a payment. That is terrible customer service and billing practices!!!
