I have seen Dr. Cruz on multiple occasions and not only does she always remember me and my case. She is kind patient and caring. Highly recommend her!!
Dr, Cruz and staff have always been wonderful anytime I've ever needed to come in! I've seen her and staff many times for a few years now and my experience and interaction with her and team have always been exceptional.
NOTE: This is a copy of a complaint that has been filed with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
Dr. Cruz has been attempting to treat my wife for depression/anxiety issues with a combination of Zoloft, Paxil, Wellbutrin, Klonopin and Xanax. When my wife's employer forced her to go on disability due to the dibilitating effects of these drugs (for the employer it was an insurance issue, as my wife uses heavy equipment on the job and was barely able to walk) Dr. Cruz said my wife would just have to get over it. My wife had no reason to feel depression or anxiety as the combination of drugs she prescribed should have taken care of the problem. When my wife told Dr. Cruz that she was seeing a counselor at the Monsignor Carr Humboldt Parkway location and that they wanted to refer my wife to a psychiatrist. Dr. Cruz just laughed and told my wife that she was 37 years old and it was time for her to grow up. The Monsignor Carr counselor felt my wife was on the wrong medication after she took the time to establish that there is a family history of bipolar disorder. Dr. Cruz felt that this was irrelevant as my wife doesn't meet with Dr. Cruz's definition of the disorder. Of course, Dr. Cruz has zero qualifications as a mental health professional, but that's besides the point. Apparently she has no qualifications for writing prescriptions either, because the combination of the drugs that she was trying out on my wife DO NOT MIX and are deadly in that combination.
