Do Not waste your time, or frustration with this pediatricians office. I should have listened to others strongly urging me to NOT take my children to Dr. Dohner’s Office in Walton, NY.
Aside from Dr, Dohner leaving his office to only Nurses, (even though I was forced to change my son’s Primary Care to Dr. Dohner), one nurse that my children saw was completely unprofessional and even completely rude in front of my two children. Because of her complete lack of decency in front of children, their office has since denied my son his medicine he desperately needs daily, and has since forced him to go without his much needed AD/HD medication today.
Not only has his nursing staff now lied about receiving my son’s medical for his medication, when I directly handed their secretaries his medical reports, Dr Dohner’s Office manager called saying their deceptions was Ok, it doesn’t Matter they lied about receiving his reports? Honesty, and Professionalism is very important when it comes to anyone treating children.
What type of Pediatrian leaves a child without medication because a parent is upset over his Nurse Practitioner, being put of line in front of Children? The office manager even apologized for their Nurses behavior, stating it doesn’t usually happen with her? Now it’s even Ok for them to lie about medical reports?

I had conjunctivitis (pink eye), a very contagious infection. The walkin clinic saw me quickly. However I was told my script would take TWO hours!! I don't live near the pharmacy. I thought this was outrageous especially as I was uncomfortable and contagious. I ended up waiting THREE HOURS for my script because they only email them in twice a day. I think they forget that we are their customers and this was not only irresponsible but cruel to the patient. I will not be going back and will go to Hamilton instead. They should have a notice on the wall so you know in advance that you will wait that long for a script.

The business does offer Many decent Dr who are in the practice. I found they sent me to everyone for a review for things that were not part to my initial complaint.But most offices do.
Be careful what you say, or answer in any Dr office you would be surprised what is in your records I notice the staff ask everything and document it as well. where you went on vacation, what you did for fun, what you eat. etc etc, I could tell right away they were seeking pertinent specific information. The office staff make it seem they are doing you a favor coming to work, and as well ask why do you need this? or that? Well I need it simple as that?

I struggled with Lyme disease and fibro for almost 3 years. The most excruciating pain and fatigue you could ever imagine. Thank you, Laura McDermott, you have changed my life. Or, shall I say given me my old life back. Thanks to you I'm feeling like I'm 25 years old again....even though I am double that. Great office, great staff! : ) How do you thank someone for something so huge? Thank 's a million. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very disapointed with his staff. Nurses are not nice. You would think they would act more professional to future paitents. I have heard such good things. But i did not have a good impression there. Very very disapointed not sure if i am going back.

I will absolutely return. I have struggled with my addiction for years and assumed I would never get the help that I desperately needed, because up to this point nothing ever worked for me. But, I had stopped in and they scheduled me to come in the very next week which was such a huge relief. I met Dr. Dohner and he was pleasant, he asked questions and listened to me when I spoke.. Unlike other places that would treat me like just another 'junkie' that didn't want help. I know I have not been there long, my second appointment is tomorrow but I am thankful for finding this establishment that gave me another chance to be sober. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Dohner to anyone that has been in my same position. Also, It was nice to see them treat their staff with respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, So far. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they care about me and what I have to say, and I hope it stays that way. The office was easy enough to find, and it was a huge plus that it was located 12 miles away from me (I have looked up various doctors and none of them were close to me) I hope everyone that is looking into getting help gets just that, I know it's a long hard struggle to get clean but If I can do it, you can too.
