They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left.
Run, run as far away from this physician as you can. Dr Carmen Dator was my mother’s PCP for MANY years; my mother also has a heart condition that she has been able to control/monitor for years with a close eye from her dr, until a week ago. My mother noticed black spots in her vision approx 2 wks ago, increased left sided headaches with dizziness for approx 3 wks and when my mother was finally able to get an appointment to get in to see the dr and went thru the issues that were going on, the tall skinny short haired blonde nurse/medical assistant (she neglected to give her name) looked my mother in the eyes and said “Wow, you have a shopping list today” of course my mother didn’t catch on to the lame attempt of sarcasm from this very unprofessional person as the nurse/M.A. chuckled and said that she was only kidding. That was the 1st fail for this office. Then Dr Carmen Dator came into my mother’s exam room and the 1st thing out of her mouth was “Well, you’re lucky you came in, I was ready to get rid of you as a patient because you waited so long to come in”. The last time my mother was in there was approx 8 months before that. My mother gave the Dr her symptoms and did nothing, sent my mother home with some prescriptions for meds, blood work and cardio stress test and attributed the headaches and dizziness to the fact that she demanded my mother lose weight. My mother has had problems over the last 8 months or so losing weight despite exercise and eating very healthy. My mother’s BP when she left the office was 164/100, way way to high to not be addressed. Needless to say, due to heart palpitations and increased issues with vision and dizziness, thankfully my mother was able to get an urgent appointment with Dr Carlos Dator (the better have of that divorce) and he immediately corrected my mother’s medications based on her labs and noticed that my mother’s thyroid level was 41 point ABOVE what it should be for a patient who is hypothyroid. Thankfully my mother is now being followed by Dr Carlos Dator and is in MUCH better hands and is well on her way to recovery. Also, a side note, the other physician in Dr Carmen Dator’s office, Dr Michael Nupuf, is a quack, my mother saw him while he was in the office with and she had told him for over a year that she was having very unusual symptoms in the “female” department and he continued to blow her off, it wasn’t till she took it upon herself to see a specialist and she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, thankfully a very quickly scheduled hysterectomy fixed that mistake by another dr in Dr Carmen’s office. Also beware of Peggy in this office, apparently she is new and therefore is not very versed in HIPAA rules and regulations, makes you wonder, how safe and protected your PHI is.

ridiculous, I waited 3 months for a prescription and never heard back and then got sent a 250 bill for a 5 minute appointment that was supposedly covered by my insurance.
