Most likely the worst service I've ever received from a doctor. Not only did he use pressuring sales tactics (i.e., I wanted to try a few types of different contacts because I've never worn them before deciding on purchasing a 12 month supply), he informed me that he only worked with CooperVision. I've never heard of an optometrist not offering the other major manufacturers (Alcon, Baush & Lomb, or Johnson & Johnson). My guess is he probably receives certain incentives from CooperVision to push their products. Even worse, I went back after a few months because the contacts were bothering my eyes to the point that I couldn't see and was experiencing extreme pain whene they were in my eyes. I told him I thought the fit was wrong; he looked at my eyes and said he thought everything looked fine. Therefore, I called my eye insurance (VSP) to get them to provide an exception allowing me to get a second opinion at another optometrist. The new optometrist said they've never heard of an optometrist not offering other brands since people react differently to contacts and product lines. And my suspicion of receiving the wrong fit was correct. Everything changed at the new optometrist...the power, the axis, and the base curve. The new contacts fit great and I haven't had any problems since. However, I already purchased a 12 month supply from his office based on his recommendation and pressuring sales tactics. The second optometrist said they always accept "unopened" contact boxes and replace them if the fit is incorrect. I tried that approach, but he refused to exchange any of my "unopened" boxes of contacts, even though his entire diagnosis of my prescription was wrong. He thought it was my fault for trusting his judgment and ordering the contacts he recommended, even though this was the first time I've ever worn contacts in my life. Apparently, he does not adhere to the policy of patients trusting their doctors judgment and recommendations. Luckily, my eye insurance was great and provided a discount (even though I still had to pay some money out of pocket) so I could buy a couple boxes from the new optometrist to hold me over until next year when my insurance resets. He used my lack of knowledge about contacts (since I've never worn them before) to push the wrong product and left me hanging to pay the bill...as well as the additional fees I had to pay to see another doctor for a second opinion. Very low character and professionalism.

Dr. Miller and his staff are very professional. I always feel comfortable either asking questions or accepting guidance.
