I THOUGHT HE WAS WONDERFUL . I HAVE ONLY HAD 1 VISIT WITH HIM SO FAR BUT HE WENT THROUGH MY HISTORY WITH CARE AND IS REALLY REVIEWING MEDICATIONS . ALSO I WAS SUPRISED TO SEE A NEGATIVE REVIEW BECAUSE I AM OLDER AND I THOUGHT HE CARED THAT I GET THE CORRECT TREATMENT. PLUS I HAVE HAD 3 PREVIOUS CARDIOLOGIST HE IS BY FAR THE BEST YET

Very caring doctor. Dr. Yiachos is thorough and listens to everything I had to say. He answered all my questions. He explained everything to me. He went over my care and medications. His office staff was professional. I recommend this doctor.

Dr Yachios was my fathers cardiologist for about 12 years. I think he views elderly patients as nearing the end of his revenue stream so he pays less attention to them. My father suffered a stroke last year and his carotid artery was 90% clogged. If he was under a cardiologists care, how does that happen? He also had him on such a low dose of lasix that it was ineffective. He did nothing to address my fathers complaints of trouble breathing after his pulmonologist said it was not lung related. And lastly, my father passed almost two weeks ago after spending his last month of life in the hospital and I have not heard one word from Dr Yachios. You would think he would offer his condolences. Do yourself a favor and find another cardiologist. Call Winthrop or St. Francis and ask for a recommendation.
