Jordan Price was without question the greatest therapist I have ever had therapy with. I had therapy sessions with him in person and in his group session meetings for a period of over two years. Jordan was always interested, involved and listened to EVERY detail and retained it all thuroughly. Most importantly, Jordan never left you feeling like he didn't understand you and what you were going through. He was able to help me on levels that no other therapist has since my adolesence could ever do. Jordan and I made exceptional progress that helped me become a healthier and more thoughtful human being. Jordan didn't solve all of my problems but if you come to Jordan looking for easy answers, he will be of service but of course offer his insight in a vulnerable and rational manner. The only reason I can't give Jordan a full five-star rating is because of how expensive it is to have a therapy session that lasts under an hour. But Jordan is truly the greatest at what he does for a living and I am eternally grateful for everything he helped me with when I felt completely alone. Jordan Price's gift for psychotherapy is life-changing.
Very understanding and open with you as long as you are open with him. Therapy has been very helpful and has helped me grow tremendously. I've seen several therapists throughout Austin, TX and none of them compare. (for my experience at least)
I was in one of Jordan's therapy groups, and felt intimidated by his presence and his need to speak "from the pulpit" at the end of all his therapy groups. It seemed very self-serving. Jordan also engaged in power struggles with me, and it was very difficult being his client. I eventually learned that therapists shouldn't do these things, and I left his group. I tried to get in contact with him later about some issues I had with him and he made me feel ridiculous for my point of view. Same old, same old with him. I'm glad I left.
