I saw Julie for years while living in Austin and she was nothing short of amazing. She always worked with me, help me get through some severely traumatic events in my life and went above and beyond when I had an insurance change arise.

As to the note that she was curt when a client was late, her schedule was always packed and get your full amof time in during the session, to address everything and help you best, she is very timely. I cannot fathom a world Linux in which she was rude or disrespectful to a patient Skand I saw her over a of 7 years and I know I arrived late on more than one occasion.

I have been seeing Julie Shipman over a number of years seeking guidance in several traumatic life experiences. She has always guided me through my troubles, from relatively minor to life shaking, with compassion and understanding. She is very good at recommending reading material to aid me in continuance of therapy outside her office. I have never walked away drom a series of sessions less than completely satisfied with the results and in a better psychological state than when we started. Highly recommended.

I would not reccomend this therapist. Very unprofessional behavior on my 3rd visit as she was extremely rude because I was 10 minutes late. It was incredible to me how disrespecful she was for such a small issue and how a medical professional could display that kind of behavior. Also, I was not satisfied with the level of experience/knowledge in general - she gave me no real tools to cope with the problems that I had. I quickly went on with another therapist.
