Doctor Barta was amazing with my daughter. He answered any and all questions that my daughters father and I had. They were confident with the treatment that was scheduled for my daughter. Doctor Barta and his staff are great aspects of the medical field. I am pleased with the work done on my daughter. We return tomorrow to see Doctor Barta.

They've never rushed my childs teeth cleaning. They always go above and beyond to make sure my childrens teeth look and feel fantastic. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. Their primary concern is my children's safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. They are very organized and professional. They are superb with kids and Dr Barta is excellent with my kids. They never fear a visit to the dentist. They always look forward to seeing Dr Barta! My oldest daughter was a complicated case and he was excellent with her and helped her overcome her fears. After trying various pediatric dentists I have found him to be the absolute best pediatric dentist!

Overall I had been very satisfied with Dr. Barta and his office staff. However, my five year old son had four front teeth with caps on them since he was a baby and one had an abscess. He told me that two had to come out immediately to prevent staining the permanent teeth and that the other front two would probably have to come out within months because they were all going to abscess. We went back and forth in about a five minute conversation about it. At some point I know I agreed to taking out all four teeth at once out of fear of having to do a second procedure in several months, but I'm not absolutely sure I remember what we settled on. Either way, I walked away from that visit with the impression that we were only taking out two of the teeth. Because of the "urgency", we had the procedure done two weeks later. In that time I did receive a bill that showed all four teeth coming out, but I didn't look at it carefully as it was in dental/insurance jargon. When I went to the procedure, he talked about wishing he could leave too when a kid was trying to leave the office. He sounded as if he was not too happy with me. I went in with my son and out came four teeth. I didn't even know it until Dr. Barta left the room! He pulled out FOUR of my five-year-old's teeth and never even confirmed it once before the procedure even with me there in the room!!! I was in shock when I left the office but couldn't say anything for fear of upsetting my child. I later looked at the pulled teeth and could see the one that was abscessed because it was much shorter than the others and did have a little staining at the top of the root. The other three teeth were very long and white and not the least bit unhealthy looking in my opinion. I'm not a professional, but those teeth didn't look to me like they needed to come out any time soon. He said they would grow back in 9-12 months, but I have a feeling it's going to be longer. I will take them to another dentist to check them. Either way, I am so upset that he would perform such a traumatizing procedure and NOT even confirm with me what was about to be done even once after one FIVE minute conversation about it??? On another note, at a previous visit, I did mention to one of the technicians that we were not really keeping up on the fluoride tabs for the kids. He then applied varnish to both of their teeth without notifying me. He never bothered to talk to me about why I wasn't keeping up or what was going on. He simply applied an elective procedure without my consent. I'm not the best parent in the world when it comes to taking care of my childrens' teeth, but this seems too much. The varnish wasn't the end of the world, but it did show a definite disregard for me as the parent -- and the pulled teeth??? I am furious and our family is utterly devastated!!!

Our experience was a disaster. My child has a severe dental phobia and should have been put under for proscribed dental care. Dr. Barta somehow failed to recognize this and attempted to treat my child while awake. My child was terrified and loopy, due to the "juice" they give before a procedure, which is a terrible combination. During the procedure my child was scared and crying, Dr. Barta lost his cool, threw down his tools mid procedure, and stormed off yelling at me to get my (terrified) child under control. To make matters worse, Dr. Barta gave my child the wrong filling. My child's dental phobia has only increased thanks to this very unfortunate event. Horrible experience.

I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. Before they even scheduled my treatment, they went over in detail all their different payment plans and exactly how much my procedure would cost. It was nice knowing exactly how much I was going to have to pay beforehand. When I left my appointment, my mouth felt cleaner than it's ever felt. They did such a fantastic job. I drive 2 hours just so my kids can see him! The adore him and we have tried other pediatric dentists and have been disappointed every time. He is great at what he does and excellent with kids even complicated cases.

We love Dr Barta! Had visited a couple other dentists with my daughter before being referred by a friend to Dr Barta.. they all wanted to overtreat and charge me thousands but he was very conservative and patient and was willing to work with her active personality. She has never been afraid to go, loves the staff and I have been very happy with everything.
